Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking

This method preserves personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. Backround cardstock paper (either printed or plain) is used with the memorabilia being placed on top of the page. This page is then placed in a plastic sleeve for protection, inside an album. Some forms of typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media and artwork. Embellishments including stickers, stamps, eyelets, brads, chipboard elements in various shapes, alphabet letters, lace, wire, fabric, beads, sequins and ribbon can be used. Photo corner mounts, adhesive dots, mounting tape, craft punches, inking tools, embossing tools, textured scissors, art pens, die cut machines and templates, craft punches, stencils and rubber stamps are all used in creating elaborate unique designs on these pages. Extensive journaling can also be used as part of the album.
